Background & Objectives
As a specialized design institution under Geely, the team has been exploring Chinese innovation in automotive design. This campaign traces Chinese design history through ancient trade routes—jade, silk, porcelain, and furniture—and positions Geely's design as a continuation of this exchange.
Creative Insight
“World Design Sees China” is not about isolating Chinese design, but about learning from it. Through visual metaphors and storytelling, Geely’s car drives through history—carrying the legacy of Chinese creativity into the future.
Strategy & Execution
The film required extensive historical research, tracing the Jade, Silk, and Porcelain Roads to visualize China’s design influence over time. Using 2D collage animation, we brought the “World Design Sees China” concept to life, combining past and present to highlight Chinese design’s growing influence on the global stage.
Results & Impact
The Xiaohongshu film garnered nearly 10 million views.
